Keith Stringer - kps Businesshelpline
Keith has been actively working within International Trade for almost 30 years. Originally from Birmingham, Keith has worked in senior management positions in a number of manufacturing companies, mainly within the fast- moving consumer goods sector. During this time, he worked with agents, distributors and store groups worldwide and organised and attended exhibitions from the West Coast of America to Asia and Japan.
Keith has worked with a number of small businesses to adapt and develop their UK offer to enter export markets. One of the most notable successes was to build a men’s accessories brand from North Wales from a mere concept, to be exporting to North America within 12 months, with agents on the West Coast, New York, Chicago, Florida and Texas.
Mark Runiewicz - SC Advisors Ltd
Exporting businesses need the ability to access appropriate funding alongside experienced advice, and this is an area of expertise provided by Mark and his team. During the event Mark seeks to share his insights on what funding options are available, how to access these, and how to avoid common pitfalls in export and trade finance.
Prior to starting his own consultancy, Mark had a successful career in banking ranging from leading Midland Bank’s internationaldivisionin the Midlands,to establishing TSB’s corporate international centre. He has alsoworked asan external consultantforthe Asian Development Bank,takingon projects such as restructuring the Country’s Export Promotion Bureau in Pakistan. With his extensive knowledge in international trade, Mark aims to provide the best possible advice to SMEs wanting to tradeinternationallyand also source the most suitable financial solutions for them.
